Dele-bashiru Unhurt In Car Crash
On-loan Lazio attacking midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru escaped unharmed after being involved in a car accident near the small town of Bracciano on Saturday evening. The Nigeria international sustained no injuries following the incident with his Lamborghini and Eagles team-mate Tijjani Noslin arrived on the scene to take him home after being notified of the crash.
The Serie A club kept news of the occurrence under wraps and Dele-Bashiru was deemed fit to be included in the matchday squad for the clash with Inter Milan at the Stadio Olimpico on Monday night. The 23-year-old, who joined Marco Baronis side on a season-long loan from Hatayspor in July, came on for Pedro in the 57th minute with the hosts trailing 4-0 and they conceded another two goals in the final 13 minutes.
Dele-Bashiru had impressed in the Europa League last Thursday as he scored in the 3-1 win over Ajax to register his second goal in the competition from four appearances. But hes yet to establish himself as a regular in the league, making just four starts and another three off the bench, while finding the back of the net just once.
