Davido Couldnt Sleep In The Room P-square Gave Me May D

Afropop singer May D has shed more light on his fallout with P-Square, revealing that Davido could not sleep in the room the Okoye brothers gave him.

May D, born Akinmayokun Awodumila, joined Square Records, the record label owned by Peter and Paul Okoye who made up the group P-Square, in 2011.

However, his time with the label was short-lived as he was dropped in August 2012, a decision that he believes derailed his meteoric rise.

The Ile Ijo singer reflected on his experience with P-Square in the latest episode of The Honest Bunch podcast published on Monday.

When Davido was running from his dad, he came to my room in P-Squares house, he was like, May D, is this where you stay? I cant sleep here oh. If I had a room, it would have been cooler, he said.
