A firm belonging to Theophilus Danjuma, a former Minister of Defence KP Hydro Limited, has acquired Kashimbila Dam, and has perfected plans to turn the Dam surroundings to a tourist hub. In addition to power generation, the dam is expected to transform the region into a tourism hub, with an airport and a five-star hotel.
