The 2024 African Nations Championship CHAN, scheduled to take place in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, is fast approaching, Soccernet.ng reports.

Questions remain from the Nigerian football community about who will lead the Super Eagles B team into the competition.

The Nigeria Football Federation NFF recently appointed Eric Chelle as the head coach of the Super Eagles. However, Chelle's appointment has brought uncertainty about whether he will directly oversee the B team's CHAN campaign or delegate the responsibility to one of his assistants.

Remo Stars manager, Daniel Ogunmodede, stood in for the Super Eagles B team during the qualifiers. He, alongside Enugu Rangers boss, Fidelis Ilechukwu, led the team to secure a 0-0 draw against Ghana in Accra before delivering a commanding 3-1 victory at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo to qualify Nigeria for CHAN 2024.
