Da Would Have To Support The Budget To Stay In Gnu: Mashatile

Deputy President Paul Mashatile says for the Democratic Alliance DA to stay in the Government of National Unity GNU, they would have to support the budget.

He was speaking to the media after delivering the keynote address at the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation Legacy Business Breakfast in Illovo, Johannesburg this morning.

The ANC National Working Committee is meeting today to discuss the way forward for the GNU.

The DA following their Federal Executive meeting indicated that they would like to remain as a part of the GNU.

The ANCs biggest GNU partner, the DA, last week voted against the adoption of the budget tabled by Minister of Finance, Enoch Godongwana.
