Da In Gauteng Criticises Lesufis Leadership Ahead Of Sopa

Democratic Alliances DA Gauteng leader Solly Msimanga says the provinces economy will deteriorate drastically if Premier Panyaza Lesufi continues to stay in office.

This came out during a press conference which the DA in Gauteng has termed The True State of the Province Address TSOPA.

The DA's TSOPA comes ahead of the State of the Province Address SOPA which will be delivered on Monday, despite the postponement of tabling of the national budget.

Msimanga says due to Lesufis poor leadership of the province , many investors are no longer willing to invest in the province.

"We have heard enough of his unrealistic promises, which lack proper implementation. The Gauteng economy is suffering and investors are not comfortable investing in it due to numerous challenges that Lesufis government has failed to address. The case in point is his promises to clamp down on corruption and crime so that the economy can grow, yet he refuses to release crucial reports that we have been asking for."
