South African National Parks, the South African Police Service and the Camps Bay City Improvement District have intensified security operations on Lions Head, Signal Hill, Pipe Track and The Glen areas of Table Mountain National Park TMNP following a spike in armed robbery incidents.
Recent weeks have seen an increase in reported crimes in these areas, prompting authorities to implement joint and individual security measures. These include increased patrols, intelligence-led interventions and coordinated efforts to apprehend suspects.
