commemorate freedom day with a walk among heroes

Get up close and personal with the history of South Africa by taking a walk among the iconic South African and international giants who fought for freedom and democracy in the country. Visitors are invited to walk through the procession of heroes, beginning in the 1600s with rebel chiefs and renegade missionaries, along with generations of freedom fighters, and finally meeting Walter Sisulu, Oliver Tambo and Nelson Mandela at the end of the march and the beginning of South Africas democracy.
