Scores of church congregants ululated and celebrated outside the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court on Thursday when the Incredible Happenings church founder, Pastor Paseka Mboro, was granted R3,000 bail. The church mans bodyguard and fellow accused, Clement Camillot Baloyi, was released on warning with strict conditions.

Mboro and his associates were arrested in August afteer they allegedly went to Matshidiso Primary school in Katlehong, where they threatened teachers with guns and pangas, before they forcefully removed his two grandchildren from the school.

Mboro was arrested in August 2024 alongside his son Vincent Revival Motsoeneng and Mboros bodyguard. They faced multiple charges, including kidnapping, possession of an unlicensed firearm and assault.

After his arrest, the pastor's church, Incredible Happenings Church, was torched in protest.

But on Thursday, there were wild celebrations from the congregants who were there to support the pastor known for his long nails and bizarre tactics.
