Choupo-moting Moving To The Big Apple With Red Bulls

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting has opted to wind down his career in the United States after joining Major League Soccer side New York Red Bulls as a Designated Player. Choupo-Moting won the last of his three Bundesliga titles in 2022-23 and finished with a record of 38 goals and 13 assists in 122 appearances across all competitions for Bayern. The 35-year-old striker has signed a two-year contract withe the Red Bulls, who have an option to extend for another 12 months through to 2027.

His time with the Indomitable Lions could be drawing to a close as he won the last of his 73 caps against Burundi on 9 December 2023 and has only been included in the squad once this year.
