Chippa United have pulled off a coup with the announcement that Stanley Nwabali has extended his stay at the East London-based club.
The Nigeria international attracted widespread interest after helping his country reach the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations final and keeping four clean sheets in the process.
Nwabali enjoyed an impressive 2023-24 season with the Chilli Boys, conceding just 23 goals in 26 Premiership appearances, leading to links elsewhere.
However, Chippa have tied down the 28-year-old goalkeeper to a lucrative new three-year contract, while also rewarding him with the captains armband for the 2024-25 campaign.
