Children At Heart Of Everything To Making This Bela Act A Reality

There will be public consultations in the development of the new norms of standards for the implementation of the Basic Education Laws Amendment BELA Act.

This is according to the Minister of Basic Education Siviwe Gwarube.

She briefed the media in Parliament earlier on the implementation of the Act.

This after President Cyril Ramaphosas directive on Friday, that the BELA Act must be implemented in its entirety.

Gwarube says children should be the focus of the consultations .
