Champions League: Barcelonas Raphinha Breaks Neymar, Kakas Records

Barcelona star, Raphinha, on Tuesday broke a Champions League record held by Neymar, Kaka and three others.

This comes after he scored a brace in Barcelonas Champions League Round of 16 second leg 3-1 victory over Benfica on Tuesday.

Raphinhas brace against Benfica means he became the most prolific Brazilian scorer in a single Champions League season, breaking the previous mark held by Neymar, Kaka and Rivaldo, Jardel and Roberto Firmino.

The 28-year-old opened the scoring in the 11th minute at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys to give Barcelona a 2-0 aggregate advantage.

Nicolas Otamendi then equalised two minutes later, but Lamine Yamal restored the Blaugranas lead on the night in the 27th minute.
