Chad Le Clos Chasing Ryan Lochte Record At World Short Course Championships

Chad le Clos will lead a young South African team at the World Short Course Swimming Championships starting in Budapest on Tuesday.

The four-time Olympic medalist Le Clos at 32 years old, is chasing the record of American Ryan Lochte at the event.

Lochte won 23 medals at the World Short Course Swimming Championships, and Le Clos currently has 19 to his name.

My goals are to obviously get as many medals as I possibly can, said Le Clos.

Ill try my absolute best to win the 200 butterfly, but in saying that I'll be very happy with any medal.
