Carabao Cup Semi-final: Why Arsenal Lost 2-0 To Newcastle Arteta

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has said his players have to take better decisions.

Arteta was speaking to Sky Sports, after they lost 2-0 to Newcastle United in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final on Tuesday night.

Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon in either half to ensure the Magpies hold a decent lead ahead of the second leg in February.

The Gunners missed a couple of chances to score, with Kai Havertz the biggest culprit, missing a header from a few yards out.

Arteta said: That was the biggest difference being clinical in the game. In every other aspect, we were the better team.
