As the extortion mafia targeted sanitation services in Cape Town, demanding that Sanitech pay a protection charge for cleaning toilets in communities, Police Minister Senzo Mchunu announced the launch of a new crime prevention project involving several levels of government, Cape {town} Etc reports.

Mchunu addressed Parliament Monday, outlining the steps done by police to combat extortion threats around the country.

He stated that the Western Cape was one of four provinces responsible for 73% of the countrys crime rate.

Mchunu claimed that the criminals methods were widely known.

Most of them are individuals who do not want to work but choose to parade as armies of murderous parasites that must be fought and rejected by society as a whole.
