City of Cape Town authorities say the Life Enrolment Units at its Driving Licence Testing Centres are offline again.
The units are used to capture eye test results, fingerprints and photographs and rely on the Driving Licence Card Account and the National Traffic Information System related to learner and driver licenses.
The city says the specific cause remains unclear at this time.
The city says it is actively following up with the Provincial Department of Mobility to escalate the matter to national level for urgent resolution.
Authorities reported the same issues relating to being offline on Monday.
