Cape Town Temperatures Set To Soar Ahead Of Two Oceans Marathon
The City of Cape Towns Disaster Risk Management has advised the public to take precaution against the expected increase in temperatures in various parts of the province.
Spokesperson, Sonica Lategan says people who are participating in this weekends Two Oceans Marathon should take extra precautions.
As we head into the warmer weather forecast the disaster risk management service urges the public to drink plenty of water and seek cover in cool airconditioned places. Wear light clothing and hats and take cool baths and showers. Limit outdoor activity and take action of the first signs of heat-related illness like nausea, heavy sweating and dizziness.
