Cape Town School Principal Fatally Shot Outside Campus

A 54-year-old principal of Ekuthuleni Primary School in Kraaifontein, Cape Town, was fatally shot outside the school on Thursday morning as learners were arriving.

The incident also left a woman injured and hospitalised.

Police report that three unidentified suspects opened fire on the victims vehicle before fleeing the scene.

At about 07:00, two persons stopped at the entrance of an institute of learning at Henzikile Street, Walacedene, in their white Mahindra vehicle.

Three unidentified males approached the victims' vehicle and opened fire at them, which led to the death of a 54-year-old male and an injured female who was admitted to hospital. The suspects fled the scene in an unknown vehicle, said police spokesperson Captain Frederick C van Wyk
