Cape Town Police Confiscate 20 Firearms After 1 Killed 7 Injured

An incident of intra-taxi association conflict in Nyanga resulted in the death of a taxi security guard and the injury of seven others on Tuesday morning, 14 January 2025, reports Cape town Etc .

According to police spokesperson Brigadier Novela Potelwa, Cape Town police subsequently confiscated 13 rifles and seven handguns, while 19 security guards are currently being questioned as part of the investigation.
