Flights from Cape Town International Airport (CPT) have resumed after a power outage affected runway lights and other services on Sunday (July 28).

Acsa confirmed on social media platform X that runway lights and navigational aids had been returned to service after 01h00 on Monday, July 29.

'Acsa technicians and specialists are continuing with permanent repairs and restoration of the network. However, we are waiting for a clear window of opportunity to execute the required work,' Acsa said on X.

The airports company apologised and encouraged travellers to download the Acsa mobile app for live flight updates.
