Caf, Aca Strengthen Partnership, Formalise Key Strategic Objectives

On the sidelines of the 14th Extraordinary CAF General Assembly, a landmark Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Confederation of African Football Caf and the African Club Association ACA, strengthening their partnership and formalising key strategic objectives.
Established in 2023, the association focuses on promoting club football, with the primary objective of ensuring financial sustainability for clubs on the continent.
In a significant gesture, CAF pledged to provide a 50 000 solidarity fee to each club participating in the group stages of CAFs interclub competitions, ahead of the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding.
CAF President Patrice Motsepe says, Our contributions will be assisting ACA in various capacities and dont ask me about how much money we gonna give them, because we are going to give them as much as we can. I was in a meeting earlier, our financial contribution is more than the contributions, it is also the intellectual contributions we have in CAF in terms of our infrastructure understanding football on the African continent.
