The notorious Durban-based business forum, Amadelangokubona, claims that politicians are behind the so-called construction mafias.
The group has been linked to disruptions and attacks on workers at major construction sites, using mafia-style tactics to demand contracts from construction companies in KwaZulu-Natal.
Gangs who claim to be business forums have been invading construction sites, demanding up to 30 percent share of the project.
One of the founders of Amadelangokubona, Bhamuza Mnyandu claims there are politicians behind these construction mafias.
He says thats where the investigations should start.
