Bayer Leverkusen manager, Xabi Alonso has revealed he is making a big effort to ensure Victor Boniface stays focused on football due to the forwards jovial nature.
Boniface, who is noted for his banters on social media, was one of the stars of Bayer Leverkusens Bundesliga success last season.
The 23-year-old registered 14 goals and nine assists in 23 league appearances for Die Werkself.
Alonso admitted the strikers light-hearted nature has made him a popular figure among his teammates.
The Spaniard further claimed he has to do more to keep the attention of the Super Eagles star on club targets.
