The Cape of Good Hope The SPCA has warned the public to be wary of criminals poisoning their pets. This follows Bumpy the dogs recent recovery after being treated by the animal welfare organisation, Cape {town} Etc reports.
Bumpy was brought to the clinic recently, vomiting, shivering excessively, and in terrible distress.
The SPCAs rapid triage procedure quickly admitted him to the Intensive Care Unit, where Head Veterinarian Dr Rivona Ramnanan identified poisoning in minutes.
