The Bulls have appointed Phiwe Nomlomo as head coach for their Currie Cup campaign, which starts next month, the Pretoria franchise announced on Thursday.

The Selborne College alumni joined the Bulls from Durban outfit the Sharks in 2023 as the joint head of the skills hub at Loftus and previously also had stints with the 2019 SA Schools A side, the Border Craven Week squad, and his former school's first team between 2018 and 2019.

He was also the head of the EP Kings academy in 2016.

Nomlomo, who was one of the assistant coaches to Jake White during the franchise's United Rugby Championship campaign, will work alongside Werner Kruger, Jean Tiedt and Kennedy Tsimba with the Currie Cup side.
