Breaking: Portable Turns Self In At Lagos Scid

Musician Portable has turned himself in at the State Criminal Investigation Department SCID in the Yaba area of Lagos.

Our correspondent confirmed the development from the spokesman of Lagos Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, on Wednesday.

Portable, born Habeeb Okikiola, was declared wanted by the police in Ogun State following his refusal to meet with officers over an alleged attack on state officials.

Yesterday, Portable posted a video alleging he is a madman receiving treatment at the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Aro, Abeokuta. He made the statement while pleading with Nigerians and the Ogun State Government following the police's declaration of him as a wanted individual.

The Command on Wednesday dismissed his claims. The police insist the singer remains wanted in connection with an alleged assault on government officials.
