Breaking News: State Drops Charges Against Former Jhb Mayor Gwamanda
The state has dropped all charges against former Johannesburg Mayor Kabelo Gwamanda .
The charges relate to the defrauding of several Soweto residents in 2011 in an alleged funeral policy scam.
The former Mayor was arrested in October last year .
Gwamanda, who is also a former Community Development MMC, was fired by the citys new Mayor , Dada Morero, last month.
He was replaced by Patriotic Alliance PA councillor, Tebogo Nkonkou .
