Blitzboks Take Aim At Perth Title
To be the best, you have to beat the best. Thats the attitude of the South African Sevens rugby team as it heads into the third leg of World Rugbys Sevens series in Perth this weekend.
After a dismal start to the series in Dubai in December, the Blitz Boks bounced back by winning the Cape Town tournament a week later.
Coach Philip Snyman says they also want to be the best team in Perth this weekend and they know what to do to achieve that.
Snyman is well aware of the strengths of the hosts and the abilities of Argentina but he said the focus is on the USA, their first Pool A opponents on Friday morning and they want to lay a solid foundation in that first game.
The USA will also test the Blitz Boks in many areas. They have some big, physical players who play with a lot of heart, while Argentina are now an established sevens powerhouse.
