The Black Business Federation (BBF) has urged the newly appointed Cabinet to collaborate with business to drive economic progress.

President Cyril Ramaphosa has announced his executive under the Government of National Unity (GNU).

The federations president Malusi Zondi says decisions made by the Cabinet will have a profound impact on the countrys economic growth, the ability to attract investment and job creation.

Zondi says, "As Black Business Federation, we must say were confident of the unity that the president has showcased. We have mentioned also to the president, its our role as the federation - we must make sure that we provide a transparent communication, particularly as business people - we must assist our government in making sure that the policies, which have limited business people to participate economically, openly, through making sure that all the marginalised people are going to be empowered. Our duty is to make sure that the government does have an open communication with our people."

The new Cabinet, composed under the GNU, consists of 32 ministers and 43 deputy ministers.
