Premier Soccer League (PSL) Chairman Irvin Khoza has announced Betway as the new sponsor of South Africas Premiership League.
This comes after DStv withdrew from its sponsorship deal a year before its conclusion.
DStv replaced 13-year sponsor ABSA when the cable television company, also the PSLs official broadcaster, signed a five-year deal in September 2020.
Revenue loss, caused mainly by a sharp decline in subscriptions, forced DStv to abandon its Premiership sponsorship.
Betway says this is the single biggest investment in South African Sport worth about R900 million over three years.
