Convicted serial rapist and murderer Thabo Bester, who had also escaped from the Mangaung Correctional Centre, is set to challenge his arrest in Tanzania last year.
Besters new lawyer Advocate Lerato Moela tells the Free State High Court that they will submit an application to challenge the courts jurisdiction on the matter and seek a fair trial.
The case against Bester and his co-accused has been postponed to next Wednesday.
