Bayern's Joao Palhinha Returns To Training After Injury Layoff

Joao Palhinha has made a significant step in his recovery as he returned to Bayern Munich team training on Friday after a two-month injury layoff.

The midfielder, who has been sidelined since tearing a muscle in his thigh while on international duty with Portugal in November, participated partially in the session.

Palhinha, 29, joined Bayern in the summer of 2024 from Fulham for a reported fee of 51 million euros 52.5 million and has made 13 appearances for the club.

His return to fitness will be a welcome boost as Bayern Munich, currently four points clear at the top of the Bundesliga, prepare to face Wolfsburg on Saturday.
