Basecamp Samburu Opens In Northern Kenya

Saruni Basecamp has officially launched Basecamp Samburu a tented safari camp in Kalama Community Conservancy. Overlooking Mount Ololokwe, the property blends luxury with conservation, offering five tented suites including a family tent with two bedrooms and two open-air star beds featuring private jacuzzis.

Designed by Norwegian firm, Bull Arkitekter, the camp also features locally sourced materials to minimise its environmental impact while maintaining high standards of comfort. Basecamp Samburu strengthens Saruni Basecamps commitment to community-based conservation by creating employment opportunities and fostering sustainable tourism in Kenyas northern region.
