Ballistic expert Colonel Chris Mangena is expected back on the witness stand in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial in the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria this morning.
Yesterday, the defence again alleged that Mangena removed an exhibit from the crime scene.
Mangena linked the murder weapon to one of the accused, Mthobisi Mncube.
Five people including Mncube are on trial for gunning down the former Bafana Bafana captain.
Defence counsel Charles Mnisi alleged that there was an officer who witnessed Mangena removing an exhibit from the murder scene in Vosloorus in the south-east of Johannesburg.
