British Airways will launch new direct flights from London Heathrow to Tbilisi from March 30, 2025.
The four weekly flights will offer access to the popular capital of Georgia, a country well known for its rich history, culture and picturesque landscapes.
We expect this to be a popular route with the leisure market, which has seen a strong comeback since 2019, as well as with those looking to enjoy direct flights,' said Neil Chernoff , BA Chief Planning and Strategy Officer.
The country lays claim to being the birthplace of wine, with an 8 000-year-old history of winemaking. It also contains evidence of very early gold mining activities by ancient civilisations. Today the economy has a large agricultural component.
Tbilisi is on the banks of the Mtkvari River and offers easy access to popular attractions across the country.
