Azuka Moweta Takes Ekobe Music Global

Asaba-born highlife musician Azuka Mowetas dream of taking Ekobe style of highlife music worldwide has finally come true.

His 8-track album, recently released by Odogwu Entertainment, is making waves globally. And theres a big plan for a worldwide remix in a compilation album by famous World class DJ Captain Planet due for release in June 2025.

In fact, news of radio stations in the US already slamming and celebrating the unique sound is rife.

Azuka Moweta cut his teeth as a vocalist of repute from the childhood tutelage of a village singing group led by Mrs Ogbuoba. He also went on to join late Anioma music crooner Uche Nwalama providing backing vocals to many of his famous songs.
