Avanti Communications has partnered with Q-KON to deliver LEO satellite services via the Eutalsat OneWeb constellation in South Africa.
Avanti communications, a British satellite solutions provider with a footprint across sub-Saharan Africa, has launched low-Earth orbit (LEO) connectivity services in South Africa.
Avanti has partnered with Q-KON to deliver the service, which will utilise Eutelsat OneWeb's LEO constellation.
"This is a strategically significant move for us in multi-orbit [services] and we hope that this is the first of many LEO partnerships globally," Kyle Whitehill, CEO of Avanti Communications, said in a statement on Monday.
