Authorities identified a man Thursday who they said was killed in a police shooting that also left a responding officer injured last week in Hollywood.
Authorities identified the man as 48-year-old Juan Wu.
The incident began around 930 a.m. on Oct. 10, when Hollywood police were called to a home near North 66th Terrace and Eaton Street for a "neighbor dispute" involving a reported vandalism.
Wu's neighbor had called 911 to report that he had damaged a shared fence.
"I'm calling because of a situation with a neighbor here," the caller said in the 911 recording obtained by Local 10 News. "We share a fence and he Wu decided to mess it up. When my husband went to talk to him, he started shouting and cursing at him."
