Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat has been offered to Atletico Madrid after failing to secure a permanent move to Manchester United.
The Morocco international spent the 2023-24 season on loan at Old Trafford and played a starring role for United as they beat Manchester City 2-1 in the FA Cup final.
However, Amrabat has since returned to Florence after the Red Devils were unable to negotiate a deal with La Viola, who stood firm on their 25 million asking price for the Atlas Lions star.
According to French outlet Foot Mercato, the 27-year-old midfielders representatives are exploring other options and have signalled out Atletico as a possible destination.
Los Colchoneros are in the market for a midfield anchorman after Saul Niguez made the switch to La Liga rivals Sevilla last month and Diego Simeone is an admirer of Amrabat after attempting to sign him after the 2022 World Cup.
