Morukuru Family has officially relaunched AtholPlace House Villa in Atholl, Johannesburg, as AtholPlace Hotel Villa. The property will now not only serve as an exclusive-use villa but also as a hotel.
Since 2020, the entire property has only been available for exclusive-use bookings. While AtholPlace Villa remains an option for exclusive use, the hotel now offers nine bedrooms for individual bookings, said co-owner, Ed Zeeman .
The newly opened boutique hotel will feature four interleading Deluxe Rooms in the annexe building and a King Room and four Superior Suites on the main buildings first floor.
The hotel will also now serve an all-day-dining menu between 11h00 and 21h00. The reception area, lobby, bar and dining room have been refurbished. Facilities for hotel guests include a bar, library, lounge area, small fitness room and a garden with a temperature-controlled pool.
Morukuru Family has refreshed the property ahead of its reopening, with new floors, carpets, wallpaper and furniture.
