Famous Nigerian music producer, ID Cabasa, has advised artists to be business-minded.
Cabasa gave the advice during a recent conversation during an appearance at Toopsoul Studio.
Speaking about the music business in Nigeria, he noted the need for artists to up their game in the business of creating music.
"You need to come into the industry with much more and not just as an artist. Also, you have to be business-minded. Not just the business of making music but with the sense of making money with it.
Cabasa noted that artists should learn to make appropriate choices while signing record contracts.
