Arteta Insists Premier League Title Race Is Not A Two-horse Race

Arsenals manager Mikel Arteta has rejected suggestions that the Premier League title race is solely a contest between Arsenal and Liverpool, stressing that the battle is far from over and teams like Nottingham Forest and Newcastle are still in the mix.

Arsenal moved within four points of Liverpool following a 2-1 win over Tottenham, but Arteta insists the race is wide open, with a long way to go.

While Liverpool currently lead the table and have a game in hand, Arteta highlighted that with the margins in the Premier League so tight, the situation could change quickly.

In two or three weeks, we could be talking about something different, he said, emphasising the unpredictability of the league.

As Arsenal prepare to face Aston Villa at the Emirates on Saturday, Arteta is keen to keep the momentum going after their comeback win over Spurs.
