Once again, Mamelodi Sundowns lead at the top of the log in the Betway Premiership is beginning to look ominous.

The champions scored a come-from-behind 2-1 league victory over they bogey side Magesi FC on Wednesday.

Magesi triumphed over their much-fancied foes in the Carling Knockout in November in one of the shocks of the season. This time, the balance of the force had indeed been restored.

Hosts Magesi opened the scoring against the run of play when Wonderboy Makhubu put his side ahead in the 12th minute of the clash.

It took an age for Sundowns to find an equaliser, which finally did emerge just beyond the hour mark as Lucas Ribeiro made it 1-1 with a fine volley.
