The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ebonyi State will, on Friday, June 28, 2024, commence rallies and campaigns ahead of local government elections.
The Ebonyi State Independent Electoral Commission, EBSlEC, had fixed Saturday, July 20, 2024 for the conduct of the elections in the 13 LGAs and 171 political wards across the state.
These rallies are a crucial part of the party's preparations for the upcoming LGA and councilorship elections in the state.
This is contained in a statement issued on Thursday by the party's State Publicity Secretary, Ogbuatu Chidi Simbad.
The statement reads: The APC, as the only political party in Ebonyi State that truly values the voice and opinions of its supporters and citizenry, is fully committed to ensuring that the people's choice of candidates emerge victorious in the forthcoming elections.
