Another alleged food poisoning incident has claimed the life of a five-year-old boy in Diepkloof, Soweto.
Three other young boys are in a critical condition in hospital.
It is believed that the children took ill after they had consumed snacks bought from a local spaza shop in the area, yesterday.
Ward Councillor Brenda Dammie has condemned the incident.
She says, The four young kids, five-year-old went and bought snacks, hardly 20 minutes after eating that snacks, the other boy became sick, and he was rushed in the hospital, hardly 30 minutes it was announced that the boy died.
