Angel Tanazou Leads Cameroon To Stunning 5-0 Win Over Egypt
The Cameroon U17 womens national team cruised to a resounding 5-0 victory over Egypt in the first leg of the U17 World Cup qualifiers at the 30 June Stadium.
14-year-old sensation Angel Tanazou was the standout performer, putting on a masterclass with a hat trick that left the Egyptian defense in tatters.
She opened the scoring in the 25th minute, pouncing on a loose ball in the penalty area after an Egyptian clearance went awry, slotting it home with precision.
Just three minutes later, Tanazou turned provider, setting up Nkoussa Divine for a well-placed finish that doubled Cameroons lead. The Bansoa Sports Academy prodigy continued to wreak havoc, winning a penalty after an Egyptian defender handled the ball in the box.
Diva TIWA Lys stepped up to convert from the spot, sending Cameroon into halftime with a comfortable 3-0 cushion.
