Anc Treats Alleged Assassination Attempt On Mashatile Seriously

African National Congress ANC Treasurer General, Dr. Gwen Ramokgopa has poured cold water on reports that an attempted assassination of Deputy President Paul Mashatile is linked to the partys 2027 national conference.

Reports emerged over the weekend that the Deputy Presidents vehicle was shot at four times on the windscreen.

Addressing the media on the sidelines of the ANCs Northern Cape provincial conference, Ramokgopa calls on law enforcement agencies to investigate these serious allegations.

Political tensions are simmering in the ANC as regional conferences across the country are set to take place.
