Anc In Kzn To Use By-election Results To Gauge Strengths/weaknesses
The ANC in KwaZulu-Natal says it will use the outcomes of yesterdays by-elections as a yard stick to observe its strengths and weaknesses in the province.
The party is trying to rebuild itself seeing a huge decline in support during the 2024 general elections.
In this weeks by-elections, the ANC snatched uPhongolos Ward 12 from the IFP.
ANC councilor Welcome Radebe received 931 votes, compared to the IFPs 622 votes.
The MK Party won Ward 28 in KwaDukuza with 1 392 votes.
