Anc In Gauteng Welcomes Necs Intervention: Lesufi

Gauteng African National Congress ANC Provincial Chairperson, Panyaza Lesufi, says they have welcomed the ANC National Executive Committee intervention in Gauteng .

He was speaking at the provincial ANCs 113th anniversary celebrations at the Alexandra Stadium north of Johannesburg this afternoon.

Last month, the ANC NEC announced the reconfiguration of the ANC in both Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal within the framework of its constitution.

The reconfiguration involves some possible changes in the PEC structures.

This follows the poor performance of the two provinces where Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal got 35 and 17, respectively.
